Escape the asylum

Slendrina: Asylum is a free horror game where you encounter not only the titular entity herself, but also her mother. As the title suggests, the game takes place in a creepy asylum. There, you have to find items—such as keys and pages from a medical book—avoid Slendrina and her mother, and escape in one piece.

This title is part of the series of Slendrina games created by Swedish developer Dennis Vukanovic, who is also known as DVloper. If you enjoyed playing Slendrina: Asylum, you can try out Slendrina: The Cellar, Slendrina: The Forest, or Slendrina: The School.

Unlock doors and find pages

There are a couple of things you have to take note of when playing Slendrina: Asylum. First and foremost, you have to find eight torn book pages scattered around the asylum. You win the game once you’ve collected all the pages. There are locked doors, too, so try your best to find the keys—even if it’s anxiety-inducing because of Slendrina and her mother.

Furthermore—If you see Slendrina—just face the other direction. As for Slendrina’s mother, it’s best to run away and hide in a closet or behind an object. If you’re unable to hide from the mother, it’s advisable to keep moving to avoid her attacks as getting hit will deplete your health bar. Thankfully, there are potions you can use to restore your health in case you get damaged.

Featuring easy, medium, and hard modes, both casual and hardcore players can enjoy playing this game. However—due to jumpscares—some people may find this title too scary for their own liking. Unless you want to beat all difficulty levels, there’s really no point in replaying this single-player title. Other than that, this title would have been more fun and engaging if it supports multiplayer.

Be on your guard

Slendrina: Asylum is not for the faint of heart as escaping the asylum requires you to remain on the alert for Slendrina and her mother. However, getting out of this place is no easy feat since you need to find eight book pages while running away from said entities. Unfortunately, this title is not worth replaying once you’ve completed everything. Having a dedicated multiplayer mode, though, would be a plus.

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
